Our Experts and Our Resources in Life

This world is such an amazing place, with so many different options available in every facet of life. In some respect there is too much available to us, and so we turn to others to be the authority or help us decide which direction to take. What makes an authority, or an expert? Basic knowledge coupled with research and a desire to have that bigger-picture point of view.

Our Experts and Our Resources in Life

I expect more than knowledge from my expert. I think of them as my resources in life. While it’s important for them to know what they are doing and have their facts straight I know that this is only part of the equation. I also expect them to act with integrity. This means so much to me, to know that what they are sharing with me is something they believe in. This is the way I have always acted in my life. This doesn’t mean perfection, because we learn through trial and error, but it does mean being upfront.

Trials and Tribulations

Our experts learn in so many ways, from classes and continued education to research and personal experience. Many of the experts I turn to know what they know because they have been there, they have gone through those trials and tribulations. Somewhere along that rugged pathway they have found solutions that work. What a great thing to share with the world, a excerpt of years of hard work wrapped up in one neat little package. From where I stand today I see that experience combined with innate wisdom and reflection is a prized offering, and it makes what I offer, what any of us offer, a very unique offering.

We think it’s so simple, or so it seems, but behind those flowing works is a lot of time and energy invested in learning, and let’s not forget dedication to finding solutions and providing answers that are easy to understand. While I’m on the topic I’d like to share a “thank you” to everyone who has helped me achieve my goals by sharing their knowledge and wisdom.

Remember what Matters

Here’s my self love tip for today – remember who it’s for, and remember what matters. This is your life, and as much as anyone else cares about you we all have our own life to focus on. Our circle of mentors and resources in life are amazing and wonderful, but we have to take it across the finish line. It’s important to find what works, but even more so we have to find what works for our life. And we have to consider both what works for us today and in the “bigger picture”. It’s taken me some time to get here, but its been a labor of love.

Our Experts and Our Resources in Life © 2011 Estee Taschereau. I began my holistic wellness journey at an early age, motivated by my own childhood illnesses to make wellness and holistic living education my personal focus. Over the years I’ve learned through classes, publications, mentoring, and life experience how to get out of the symptom-focused world and into simple solutions on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level. We’re ready to instill more life into living.
