Feather Fans and Auric Energy

The Healing Drum Retreat is only days away, count em’, days! We start this Friday, September 18, 2009, with a drum making class. Not everyone is making a drum, but they will be arriving for the weekend, and getting that initial shift in energy to get the most of the weekend.

Did you know we moved the retreat? It’s only a short drive from Portland, Oregon as well as Olympia, WA. Our location is now Hope Grange in Winlock, WA. Why this change? Many reasons! We really like this space, its very open with a great country setting. We’ll have our campfire, as usual, just around the corner.

On Saturday we will send our resonant voices across the web that connects us, and as a group shift the world around us! Back by popular demand we will have our release, with offerings of forgiveness, compassion, and willingness to step forward.

Later in the day we will create beaded feather fans for smudging, and on Sunday we will use our feather fans as a healing tool, learning about the auric field around the body.

These are just a few of the many creative and healing activities we will do at the upcoming Healing Drum Retreat. There is still time to register! Call Estee via the google phone tool (google will call you on your voice line, way cool!!), or use the contact form.

To get to the event take I-5 (north from Portland, south from Chehalis, Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia). Take exit 68, turning right for those going southbound, and turn left if you came from Portland. Drive approx. 3 miles to the 2nd stop sign, after the railroad tracks, and turn LEFT. Go .8 miles to Antrim Rd and turn left. You will see the signs for Hope Grange. Again, pre-registration is recommended, this event includes meals and a “field trip”. Those who need a place to stay Friday and Saturday night are welcome to bring RV or tent, or stay in the Grange (cot or mat will be needed, as well as bedding).

See you there!!
