We’ve really grown in to an information hungry society.  With all the audio’s, video’s and books available to us there is no shortage in data.  Despite the availability of information we are still seeking answers.  No matter how much is given to us we all need to find our own answers.  It takes the single soul to walk their own path, collecting life experiences and bringing it all together in a way that fits.  As our world moves faster and we near the year 2012 our quest for answers deepens.

How do we build that bridge between our thoughts, ideas, and life lessons?  There are many tools available to us.  Many of our ancient teachings hold keys to finding understanding and purpose.  There is the Enoch, the Egyptian Book of the Dead, and the Mayan Tzolkin calendar to name just a few.

I was drawn to the Mayan calendar years ago, and began following the calendar combination each day.  As I focused on each day, shown in a combination of a number and a picture, I began to receive messages as to the meaning of the different tones or images.

Each image holds a quality of life.  For example, there is Kan representing new beginnings and the seeds we plant.  There is Manik for the grace that is found in our spiritual evolution.

The twenty images come into play, one each day, and combine as well with numbers.  Each number gives us an evolutionary level.  In my opinion the thirteen numbers give us a complete cycle, not so much in a circle but in a spiral, with each revolution leading us to greater knowledge and awareness.

Awareness, that is what the Mayan Tzolkin calender and the Mayan Daily Insights is all about.  Each day contains an inspirational message, a thought of the day, and the days build upon each other.   We all have times when we need to know that we really do have a little extra support or that feeling that all those steps we have taken will all fit together.
